My Home

MY HOME situated in Scarperia, right in the historical centre within the fourteenth century walls, was bought by us a few years ago to be completely restructures maintaining intact the antique materials and the tradition. The handmade terracotta, wooden parquet floors, exposed wooden beams, typical Tuscan warm coloured materials and furniture  are the characteristics of our residence.
The entrance door is independent and the Firenzuola stone stairs are characterised by niches, decorations and paintings.

MY HOME has today, after a careful restoration, 4 very welcoming bedrooms, all different in colours and furnishings with private bathrooms characterized by the tones of hard gemstones. 

All the bedrooms have windows overlooking the historical centre.

The private bathrooms in each bedroom are decorated with handmade terracotta and decorated at the Mugello furnace.

All have towels, a courtesy kit, bathroom slippers and hairdryer.

Some rooms have:

air conditioning, independent access, coking corner.

Upon request small sized animals are allowed.

My Home is suitable for all occasions and for all.

Practical for a weekend outing, directly in the historical centre of Scarperia where one can find shops, bars, pub, restaurants, pizzerie and a small supermarket, besides a bank, chemist, bread shop, ice cream shop, and the bus stop for Florence, Barberino Designer Outlet etc.;

Romantic for couples who allow themselves a couple of days of  relax with comfortable double beds, a welcoming ambiance, winter bedcovers/blankets, exclusive rooms furnished in style. Ideal for visiting the Medici castles, the nearby towns: Florence, Pisa, Arezzo, Siena, Lucca, Volterra, Cortona, San Gimignano, Montepulciano, Pienza;

For groups of couplet and friends who wish to stay all together in an exclusive environment;

For families who wish to take a holiday in Toscany, near Florence, but away from the City chaos, in the tranquillity of the green hills, without timetables and independent or upon request served;  

For singles who will never feel alone in the historical centre of Scarperia, and near all points of interest;

For quick work stays, with all comforts for resting and near night entertainments in the restaurants and pub in the streets.

Moreover My Home, being situated in the historical centre is perfect for visits to churches, the Medicean castle of Scarperia with walks around the merlons of the tower, the exhibitions of the cutting metals, the Brunelleschi clock, weekly markets, small town festivals, antique markets, renaissance festival in September and the Diotto palio, the flower festival in March, blooming in May, feasts with typical Mugellan products cooked by the female cooks of the town.
